WHNA Annual Meeting and Potluck

The Windsor Heights Neighborhood Association will hold its annual meeting Sunday evening, May 15th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center in Colby Park, located at 69th and School Streets. This is our Annual Meeting and thus the board has decided to celebrate with a potluck dinner. The board members will provide the main entrée, beverages, and utensils; please consider bringing a favorite side dish to share with others. All Windsor Heights residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Agenda items will include the president’s annual message and election of officers (vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and all three at-large seats). Additionally, there will be short a presentation by the City of Windsor Heights and the Neighborhood Finance Corporation about a new homeowner assistance program that will be launching this summer. The program has been created to provide financial incentives to offest the costs for homeowners who may be looking to undertake sewer improvement projects on their property.
We are also seeking nominations for the available board positions. If you or someone you know would like to be a nominee for the upcoming board elections, please feel free to contact Trevor Huffaker, or simply send us an email. Nominations will also be taken from the floor. This is a great time to step forward if you have ideas to better the WHNA. Your involvement is vital to the success of this organization.
As a reminder, only paid members are eligible to vote. If you have not yet paid your membership dues you will be able to do so that evening. Dues are $15 per individual or $25 per household. If you are unable to attend but would like to pay your dues for 2011, they can be mailed to:
