Windsor Heights Neighborhood Association

The general membership meeting was held on Sunday, April 19, at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church. Elections were held and the new members of the board are:

• Allen Sydnes, Vice President
• Tim Hauber, Treasurer
• Lynn Hiatt, Board Member
• Cindy Smith, Board Member
• Trevor Huffaker, Board Member (second term)

Members of the Windsor Heights Neighborhood Association who attended the general membership meeting on January 25, 2009, generated a list of ideas for the the Windsor Heights long range vision plan. These ideas will be forwarded to the committee responsible for the plan. See this document (31kb pdf) for a comprehensive summary of those ideas.

The City of Windsor Heights will have a single zip code effective July 1, 2009. You may begin to use the new zip code June 1, 2009. Residents and businesses will have from June 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 to notify correspondents of the new zip code. Mail will be forwarded during that time period.

The city will provide 30 return address labels to any citizen requesting them. Simply stop by City Hall and the staff will help. If you have any questions call City Hall at 279-3662.

It is a goal of the Windsor Heights Neighborhood Association to maintain complete financial transparency. To that end, a complete accounting of the funds collected is available for view at the bottom of the left column on this page.
